Most of you out there have Firefox 3 and noticed some of your addons are not compatible? WTF?!?! Ah, but don’t panic. There’s a chance they are updated but just not on the Mozilla Addons site. You may have to go to the homepage of the developer of said addon. All you do is right-click and “Visit Home Page”.

Usually, they may have information about any FF3 updates or betas if not posted on the addon page.

One thing I read on Digg was that you can cheat by changing something in the about:config page. You could try that but they say it’s a big risk so… don’t do it.

Long story short: I was biking from work on Tuesday night. It was about 9:40ish PM by the time I reached Lawrence & Kenmore. Just as I was about to go past an alley, a cat, darted out of the alley from the other side. I guess he left out of one of the condos and made it to the street. As he reached me, his head hits the front wheel’s spokes (and I was pedaling rather fast) and he just ran back.

No wonder people hate cats. They’re furry four legged assholes.

I have a question I’m sure anyone can answer.
You know when you upload a music video you’ll get a notice from YouTube about copyright and all that jazz and they will basically do this to your video (circled in red).

So, the question at hand is why does music videos get a copyright notice yet people who post mp3’s in a video with a single image don’t get one?
You can’t go after one without going after the other, now. I mean, am I wrong for thinking this?

I could talk about all the talk about the iPhone having 3G (whatever the fuck that is) and all it’s fancy new features that… well, you may not really use much of BUT, I want to talk about something people might tend to overlook. Yep, I’m talking about phone plans.

As everyone knows, most people these days pretty much replaced the home phone with a cell phone thus making it their “mobile house phone” (reading that aloud sounds so “hillbillyish”, eh?). Sure, lots of people can not only afford the iPhone itself but can also afford the contract price and all the bullshit fees like texting.
[SIDENOTE RANT]If all you do the most is texting on your phone, then why bother having a phone? Just get a laptop, install your IM clients (I suggest getting Digsby) and get like a broadband network card so you can walk about looking like a bigger dork than you do trying to text someone about some cute person you saw in the mall with your big fat fingers and the oh-so tiny buttons. Fucking nincompoops.[/SIDENOTE RANT]
Now, someone like me, I would get an iPhone but, I don’t want a contract. The only failsafe commitment I’ll make is to a future wife. I read on FriendFeed that a rumor is that Apple might do the “Pay & Go” iPhone after the new one comes out. Would I get one if that rumor was true? HELL YES! I think Apple would benefit with a PAYG (pay as you go) plan. Why waste contract fees for a phone you’ll barely use? You know I’m right.

Now, this is where I plead to Apple that they need to do Pay & Go.

Dear Apple, Steve Jobs, and the rest of the super smart fucks over there,
I’m sure you guys are happy to have invented everything and be almost as powerful as Oprah. What, I, as a possible future Apple consumer, would like is an iPhone that I can pay for whatever minutes I feel I need to have than paying ridiculous amounts of contract fees just to call home or calling my one out of state friend. I beg of you… PLEASE consider doing a Pay & Go iPhone. Thank You.

P.S. If you have any recent MacBooks or iMacs just sitting around, I’ll be willing to take them as a donation just to help you guys out.

Outsanity

I’m sitting here just wondering “What might make a social network site better or how to improve one?” and a few things have struck me. I’m doing this on the fly so, bare with me.

*Intergrade Twitter: Now, when I say “Twitter”, I don’t mean just Twitter. That includes FriendFeed, Jakiu, Pownce, and whatever other like sites there are. Since these are getting more and more popular, it would make sense to add them internally than adding a widget.
*No Apps!: I hate all apps. Facebook started that shit and it’s nothing but spam enhancers. Now MySpace started making apps (a complete ripoff from Facebook) and… well, it’s just stupid.
*Don’t Go Pro: I’m sure some people would pay for a pro account that will add extra features but, why not just push them out out of love of your community?
*Spam Control: Easier said than done in most cases. There has to be more than doing CATCHPA’s or making the CATCHPA more stronger. Tho, CATCHPAs that are in the login page are also good.
*No Privacy: Why do you bother to join a social community if you’re going to make yourself private? If you have something to hide, you might want to not be on the internet at all. That’s more of an “iPetPeeve” of mines.

I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting but thi sis the list for now.

Kagome can travel from the present to the past via a well.
With all the talk on tv shows about doing anything in the past can alter the future, why is it that in the very first episode, nothing in the future (Kagome’s present time) wasn’t altered as soon as she landed in the past? I would think her school outfit would be a prime factor.

Eh… I still like the show, tho.

I’d like to think so seeing games these days are more involved than… an actual movie.
Of course, adding alcohol will enhance the date more.

So, I signed up for another online photo community site called Zooomr (yes, three O’s). Now, i never heard of this site until i noticed Thomas Hawk had uploaded some photos. As usual, I joined it just to see what’s doing.

If you’re used to Flickr, then you’ll quickly adapt to Zooomr.
It’s the same method: upload photos and share them. The do have PRO accounts but compared to Flickr, I like it. Why?

Sorry Flickr but… Zooomer is my new favorite.
